Aaron Academy wins games at Madison

Last night at the Madison Campus Elementary school gym the Royals of Aaron Academy, both the girls and the boys, won their basketball games.  In the girls game, the Royals went wire to wire finishing the evening with 43 points.  The Lady Knights scored 32 points and began the regular season 0-1.

In the boys game, the Knights built an early lead and held on to it during the first half.  The Royals made some halftime adjustments and took the lead in the 3rd quarter.  The score was close through the end of the game.  In the last minute, the Royals pulled away making free throws and baskets to finish 51-41.  The Knights lose their opening game but hope to bounce back and start a winning streak.

The next game is Tuesday, November 15th at Madison Academy gym.  The girl’s varsity game starts at 7:30 pm, boys varsity at 6:00 pm, boys Freshmen team at 5:00 pm, the girls Freshmen team TBA.  Their opponent is Pleasant View Christian.  Last year both the girls and boys team won their home games against PVC.
